The club is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic performance coach to join our experienced team and drive forwards the performance programme. The role is a full time self-employed position with approximately 40% squads and 60% private coaching.
We are a large club in North London with 12 courts, a gym and a clubhouse and bar. We have over 800 members and are developing our facilities with more floodlit courts and a new gym. The club have recently appointed a new Director of Tennis, Lucy Dean, and the club is going from strength to strength.
The performance programme has 80 players across u8 to u18 with top team training also for our mens and womens top teams. We have a dedicated s&c coach which is well integrated into the programme.
We are an ambitious club and are looking to drive forwards our performance programme to be the best offering in North London.
The candidate will be responsible for working with our elite squads (juniors and adults) and developing players at a performance standard. This will also involve working on player programmes and tournament schedules.
The club are looking for a self-motivated and hard working coach with experience working in a high performance environment or has played to a high level themselves. The coach need to be able to work across u10, 11+ and senior performance age groups and preferably a player-coach for the top adult teams.
They must be willing to work early mornings, after-school, evenings and weekends, there may also be the need to travel for tournaments and training camps.
