Curriculum

Hello! My name is Manuel Cavaco, and I am a high performance tennis coach, living in New York, USA. I'm currently working with Top sectional and National junior players and one professional male tennis player. I started coaching in February of 2012, along with a relocation to Dubai, where I had the opportunity to coach top ranked players between the ages of 13 and 16, at the Emirates Tennis Academy. In 2013, I moved back to Portugal and worked as a freelance tennis coach, teaching all levels of players and 2 top national players - one of them finished that year as number 1 of the National ranking for under 14. As a player, I competed all over the world, playing Tennis Europe, ITF and ATP tournaments. I played against top world players like Roberto Bautista-Augut, Lukas Rosol, Frederico Gil, Joao Sousa, Daniel Gimeno Traver. I also had the chance to be the sparring partner of Dennis Gremelmayer when he was top 35 ATP, and Maria Kirilenko when she was top 10 WTA.
