My responsibilities included; providing tennis lessons for tennis players within an advanced, professional tennis programme where our teams regularly competed in national school events, annually succeeding in winning county school events with some teams winning national schools competitions. I was required to be in contact with parents, colleagues and students to make sure they were informed of lesson times and what was going on. I was required to have knowledge of using the facilities outside of tennis in case of poor weather, where performance players would train whilst accompanied in the gym. During the job role I was required to take large groups of children across the school to the tennis courts and make sure this was done so in a prompt and timely manner as well as constantly ensuring they were safe to and from their lessons as well as making sure I knew exactly who was coming to collect them or whether they were needed to be taken back to the school.
