An adult female ITF tennis player seeking a coach/hitting partner to help her find success at the ITF/WTA level. Looking for someone who can travel to tournaments with her, serve as a hitting partner, provide on-court/off-court coaching and mental/emotional support, and handle tournament logistics. Who will also help her to develop and improve when away from tournaments. Current elite playing skills are a MUST and professional ATP/ITF tour experience is strongly preferred.
Playing ITF tournaments around the world.
Home base is in Arizona, United States.
Responsible for her on- and off- court development.
Designing and running daily practice sessions tailored to her needs to maintain and improve her form and skill.
Scouting opponents, designing tactical plans based on her skill level, and practicing it by simulating her opponent's play. Provides on-court coaching, constructive feedback, encouragement, and emotional support.
Providing post-match analysis and designing off-court practice plans to help her improve.
Managing logistics, organizing tournament schedules, and assisting booking transportation and hotels. Helping adaptation to different tournament conditions such as weather/altitude/court surface and ensuring equipment and practice are adjusted accordingly.
An elite male tennis player with recent ATP/ITF tournament or division 1 collegiate experience. He must be able to simulate the intensity, consistency, and any technical/tactical challenges presented by WTA players. He is passionate about coaching and can use his own competitive playing experience to help her to build confidence and skills needed to succeed competing at the ITF/WTA level. He is professional, respectful, responsible, enthusiastic, positive, patient with a good temperament, and can work effectively with others.
Competitive monthly salary or day-rate commensurate with experience. Tournament-related expenses will be covered (transportation, accommodation, and meals).
After a trial period of 1-3 months, possibility of becoming full-time.
