We are The Tennis Club, Oman’s first ever indoor tennis academy! Our club is dedicated to providing a world-class tennis facility with ITF-compliant courts for players of all ages and skill levels. We aim to provide a safe, cooled, comfortable environment to play and connect all year round.
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, passionate, and highly skilled tennis coach to join the team at Oman’s first indoor tennis club.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide critical direction to all of the club’s activities and plan effective programs for all skill levels
Deliver engaging, high-quality individual and group coaching sessions
Develop personalized training plans for players of all levels
Mentor and support junior players, fostering talent and sportsmanship
Promote the club’s programs and contribute to community outreach
Ensure a safe, positive, and motivating environment on and off the court
Collaborate with the management team on program development and club events
Qualifications:
Certified Tennis Coach (ITF, PTR, or equivalent)
Proven coaching experience with juniors and adults
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

In-depth knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and tactics at all levels.
Coaching & Mentorship:

Strong leadership skills to motivate, manage, and develop assistant coaches and support staff.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication for clear instruction, feedback, and relationship building with players and parents.
Program & Curriculum Development:
Experience in designing coaching curricula, organizing tournaments, and managing seasonal training schedules.
Customer Service Orientation:
Commitment to providing a positive experience for players and families, with high standards of professionalism.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to assess player performance, diagnose areas for improvement, and adapt coaching methods accordingly.
Time Management & Organization:
Effective scheduling and prioritization of sessions, administrative tasks, and facility management.
Adaptability & Continuous Learning:
Willingness to keep up with new coaching methodologies, sports science trends, and industry best practices.
Safety & Risk Management:
Knowledge of injury prevention and maintaining a safe training environment.
