The organization is looking for a Tennis Coach who will be responsible for the design and delivery of coaching sessions. The Tennis Coach will also contribute to team meetings to help shape the programme. The Tennis Coach will work closely with the Director of Tennis, Head Coach, Tennis Development Officer, and the wider coaching team. This to deliver excellent coaching across our year-round, comprehensive coaching programme.
The Tennis Coach will be encouraged to coach individual lessons/ hits outside of employed hours. Benefitting from discounted court rates, and the tennis team will proactively promote the new coach and signpost enquiries to them. The ideal candidate will also benefit from a number of coach education opportunities that take place throughout the year. As well as bespoke professional development opportunities from mentoring to networking. The position of Tennis Coach will be 18 hours per week.
The organization is based in Bristol and delivers a comprehensive year-round coaching programme for juniors, students and adults on 4 indoor courts and 10 outdoor courts. The coaching team will work with between 350 – 550 players each week. The organizations tennis programme includes Mini Tennis, Teen Tennis and coaching for all abilities. We also work in partnership with the LTA to deliver inclusive activities and with local schools to help more people play tennis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic LTA Accredited and qualified Level 2 or 3 tennis coach to join our team this autumn for 12 months.
