Junior Coach Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the technical and athletic development of the Academy's athletes, collaborating with the coaching team to ensure a high level of training. Key responsibilities include:
1. Teaching and Coaching
Lead training sessions for athletes of different ages and levels, from young beginners to competitive athletes.
Support the technical, tactical, and physical improvement of players by following the Academy's programs.
Adapting teaching methods to the specific needs of each athlete.
Monitoring and correcting player technique with a constructive and motivational approach.
2. Collaboration and Teamwork
Working in synergy with other coaches to ensure consistent, high-quality training.
Participate in technical meetings and discussions with staff.
Contributing to the creation of a positive and professional environment within the Academy.
3. Athletic Training and Mental Coaching
Collaborate with athletic trainers to integrate technical and physical training.
Support athletes in managing their mental health during matches and competitions.
4. Participation in Tournaments and Events
Accompany athletes during local, national, and international tournaments, providing technical and mental support.
Follow players during competitions to monitor their progress and analyze their performances.
5. Organization and Management of Activities
Contribute to the planning and management of Academy training and activities.
Collaborate on the management of athletes' calendars, identifying the most appropriate development paths.
Maintain updated reports on student progress.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional with a passion for teaching and a desire to grow within a high-level academy.
Experience: Minimal experience as a coach, assistant coach or sparring partner, preferably in academies or structured clubs.
Technical Knowledge: Good command of teaching methodologies for young athletes and competitive players.
Physical Preparation: Knowledge of the basics of athletic training applied to tennis.
Skills and Soft Skills
Passion for teaching and predisposition to work with athletes of different age groups.
Communication and relational skills to motivate and involve students.
Professional approach and willingness to learn, with a desire to grow under the guidance of expert coaches.
Flexibility and team spirit, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the Academy.
Basic knowledge of English (welcome for interaction with foreign athletes).
Availability and Classification
