An experienced min. Level 3 Coach who can work with a mixture of Adult Group Coaching, Individual 1:1s and Juniors Sessions. Hours are flexible, but are likely to consist of up to 5-6 hrs a day, either early or lates, with limited evening coaching. Some rotation of weekend work, days off mid-week. Min 21hrs – 35hrs per week, up to 46 weeks a year, including some in Easter & Summer holidays. Holiday periods subject to negotiation. Initially on 1 year Contract.
A great opportunity to assist the new Head Coach to design the tennis week, be part of an exciting new team, bring new ideas, build the club and offer different formats for individual and group sessions.
We are one of Surrey’s finest small village clubs, in a beautiful setting, and with a very active tennis & cricket community, 6 Floodlit Courts (0800-2130), Clubhouse & Bar, with a friendly social scene and around 1000 members from c 450 households, some c 300 Juniors, plenty of families and a very busy Senior section. We run 13 Ladies, 4 Mens, and 3 Mixed Teams in LMTL, Chaucer and other leagues.

Essential: friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, plays to a good standard, flexible thinker, can do attitude. You need a minimum of 2 years + experience as a coach and to be committed to your coaching career.
Desirable: Probably previously a county or regional player, team orientated with the ability to contribute to the design of a club tennis week, and good with juniors. A knowledge of different club practices, fluency with LTA Mini Tennis, the ability to re-string rackets and experience of setting up and using technology like Clubspark desirable.
