Assistant Tennis Coach

Job Summary

We are looking for passionate, energetic tennis coaches to join our growing coaching team in San Francisco, California.

We are seeking experienced coaches from Latin America who want the opportunity to coach in one of the most exciting tennis communities in the United States.

Teach private and semi-private tennis lessons

Coach junior and adult players of all skill levels

Lead group clinics

Provide excellent customer service

Arrive on time and maintain a professional appearance

Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to every lesson

Venue and Company description

We have been been providing high-quality tennis instruction in San Francisco, California for over 20 years. We offer private lessons, semi-private lessons, group clinics, and junior programs for players of all ages and skill levels. Our coaches teach at public tennis courts throughout San Francisco, creating a fun, professional, and welcoming environment while helping students improve their game. We are a growing coaching company committed to developing both our players and our coaching team.

Job duties and responsibilities

Teach private, semi-private, and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults.

Create fun, engaging, and effective lessons tailored to each student's skill level.

Demonstrate proper tennis technique and provide constructive feedback.

Arrive on time, prepared, and maintain a professional appearance.

Build positive relationships with students and encourage long-term participation.

Communicate with students regarding scheduling and lesson updates.

Assist with tennis clinics, social events, and occasional tournaments.

Help maintain courts and equipment as needed.

Represent SF Tennis Lessons with professionalism and excellent customer service.

Follow company policies and safety procedures.

Candidate qualifications and skills

Competitive playing experience (college, national, ITF, ATP/WTA points, or equivalent)

Previous coaching experience preferred

Strong English communication skills (Spanish also welcomed)

Reliable and professional

Passion for teaching and helping students improve

Preferred Candidates

Former nationally ranked juniors

College tennis players

Certified coaches (ITF, PTR, RSPA, etc.)

Coaches interested in relocating to the United States
