Padel in Uganda is seeking an energetic, passionate, and experienced padel coach to support the rapid growth of padel in East Africa. This role is ideal for a coach looking for international experience, remote training opportunities, or a short-term contract in an emerging sports market. You will help shape the first generation of padel players in Uganda and contribute to building a strong foundation for the sport across the country.
We welcome coaches from Europe, the Middle East, South America, and anywhere worldwide—especially those offering affordable rates or open to short coaching missions.
Padel Place Uganda is one of the emerging padel communities helping introduce the sport across East Africa. Padel is still new in Uganda, and demand for training is growing quickly as more players discover and enjoy the game.
We operate in Kampala with access to modern padel courts, enthusiastic players, and a supportive environment for international coaches. Our vision is to grow padel into a major sport in the region by offering structured training, development programs, events, and coaching collaborations with international professionals.
We welcome overseas coaches who are open to affordable rates, remote work, or short-term visits, and we provide a safe, friendly, and exciting environment for sports professionals looking to expand their international coaching experience.
Previous experience coaching padel at club, amateur, or competitive levels.
Strong understanding of padel technique, strategy, movement, and drills.
Ability to work with complete beginners and help grow confidence and consistency.
Clear communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Patience, professionalism, and an enthusiastic approach to developing new players.
For onsite roles: ability to travel to Uganda for short-term or medium-term coaching projects.
For remote roles: ability to create digital training content and provide video-based coaching feedback.
Coaching certifications are an added advantage but not mandatory.
Deliver high-quality padel coaching for beginners, intermediate players, and developing competitors.
Create structured training programs tailored to players of different ages and skill levels.
Provide one-on-one lessons, group sessions, and player development plans.
If remote, offer video-based feedback, tactical analysis, and virtual training programs.
Support the development of grassroots padel in Uganda through workshops, weekend clinics, or short-term training camps.
Advise on equipment, training methods, player progression, and coaching best practices.
Help prepare players for local tournaments and regional competitions.
(Optional for onsite coaches) Assist with club events, demo days, and promotional activities.
