Our Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis Coach to join our growing team in Manila, Philippines. This role is ideal for a coach looking to gain international coaching experience while living in Southeast Asia and immersing themselves in the friendly Filipino culture.
The coach will support on-court group and private sessions, help deliver high-quality tennis development programs, and contribute to a positive and professional coaching environment.

Tennis United Academy operates across multiple premium tennis venues in Manila, with training sessions held in some of the most exclusive clubs and facilities in Makati, BGC, Alabang, and surrounding areas.
Our coaching environment is dynamic and mobile, allowing players and coaches to experience different high-quality courts and training settings depending on the program, group, and development needs.
We work within established tennis clubs and private venues that reflect a high standard of professionalism, providing an elite yet welcoming atmosphere for both competitive and recreational players.

Job duties and responsibilities
- Assist in delivering high-quality tennis coaching sessions for juniors and adults across different skill levels.
- Support lead coaches in planning and executing structured training programs and drills.
- Provide technical feedback and guidance to help players improve fundamentals, technique, and match play.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging learning environment on court.
- Help manage group classes, private lessons, and clinic-style sessions across multiple venues (Makati, BGC, Alabang).
- Assist in player development tracking and basic progress reporting when needed.
- Participate in coaching meetings, mentorship sessions, and internal education programs.
- Support content creation for coaching videos, social media, and educational materials (when required).
- Communicate professionally with players, parents, and coaching staff.
- Uphold the academy’s values of discipline, respect, and long-term athlete development.
- Be open to travel opportunities for tournaments, camps, and development programs when applicable.
Candidate qualifications and skills
- Previous tennis coaching experience (group and/or private lessons).
- Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, technique, and drills.
- Energetic, physically fit, and active on court.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Comfortable working with players of different ages and skill levels.
- Able to build good relationships with players, parents, and fellow coaches.
- Comfortable appearing in front of the camera for coaching videos and social media content.
- Passion for athlete development and modern coaching methods.
- Minimum availability of 20+ hours per week.
- Interest in international coaching experience and cultural immersion in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
- Intermediate to High level of English.
