We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Level 2 coach to take up the challenge of nurturing and expanding our junior coaching programme. At the moment we are looking to run a minimum of 4 hours of junior coaching per week with the aim to expand, the hours worked can be negotiated to suit your schedule and the needs of the club. As a small club, we would like to foster and grow a new coaching programme that will help develop the club as a whole. Alongside the junior coaching, you can build up a loyal clientele of individual lessons as well as run adult sessions.
We are one of the oldest tennis clubs in the Inverclyde area. Currently, the club has 4 floodlight artificial grass courts and a good squad of committed members. We have recently resurfaced our 4 artificial grass tennis courts and are working on additional improvements to the club as a whole.
The club is a small and friendly venue with boundless potential for expansion for the person with the commitment and enthusiasm to help grow the coaching programme.
Coordinate and manage the junior coaching and grow the programme through marketing to local schools and via social media. This includes running the club’s Summer Camps.
Managing the administration of ClubSpark (Bookings, payments, setting up events).
Individual and group lessons (flexible with the demand).
General housekeeping of the tennis courts and equipment.
As previously described, this position’s base hours are 4 per week but this is expected to be expanded to include more adult coaching sessions, team training and individual lessons.
