We are a well-recognized tennis and physio therapy companies in Hong Kong with teams of highly experienced staff. Both companies were founded in Hong Kong by two former professional tennis players John Hui and Mike Walker.
1) Performance Training: Develop and implement tennis-specific strength and conditioning programs focusing on agility, speed, coordination, and explosive movement (especially lateral speed).
2) Assessment & Monitoring: Evaluate player physical performance, identify strengths/weaknesses, and track progress to adapt training programs, often working closely with coaches to ensure alignment with technical goals.
3) Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation: Design exercises tailored to common tennis injuries (shoulder, knee, lower back) and work with medical support services on injury rehabilitation.
4) Match/Tour Prep: Prepare players for competition through conditioning, and in some cases, provide on-court fitness support.
5) Player Education: Teach young athletes proper, long-term athletic development techniques.
6) Administration: Maintain player development records and provide reports, occasionally coordinating logistics.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements:
1) Certification: Internationally recognized Strength & Conditioning qualification (e.g., NSCA, NASM, ACE, ACSM).
2) Experience: Previous experience working with athletes from beginner to competitive levels, with a preference for tennis-specific backgrounds.
3) Knowledge: Strong understanding of tennis-specific anatomy, movement patterns, and energy systems.
4) Certifications: First Aid certifications preferred.
Essential Skills & Traits:
1) Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication to motivate players, interact with parents, and report to coaches.
2) Adaptability: Ability to tailor training to different ages and skill levels (junior vs. senior, amateur vs. professional).
3) High Energy/Motivation: Self-motivated and able to inspire athletes during intense training.
4) Team Player: Ability to collaborate with coaches, therapists, and team management.
5) Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the physical demands of different tennis surfaces and styles of play.
