Main focus will be a 12 year old female player with a UTR5.4, about 12 hours a week. Remaining hours will be focused on kids aged between 7-13 and their development, occasionally, the ideal candidate has to be willing to coach beginners, younger kids and social adults as well.
The ideal candidate should be willing to work on the beautiful island of Malta, working in a small but ambitious and fast growing tennis academy. Operating over 8 courts, we are one of Malta’s largest academies.
Minimum ITF level 2 certification or equivalent, at least 3 years coaching experience, and good level of playing. Candidates without ITF Qualifications who have played ATP or WTA will be considered. Excellent communication skills is a must. Willingness to work in an ambitious environment whereby we thrive to give the kids all the foundations required to be able to pursue a professional career in tennis. The ideal candidate has to be enthusiastic with a strong willingness to teach kids the foundations of tennis, flexible, and eager to work long hours (30-40 hours per week). Ability to do individual and group tennis fitness is considered an asset.
Salary is a fixed of 3000 euro for 30 hours a week. Additional hours of coaching will be paid for at 25 euro per hour. Additional benefits, will be discussed during interview.
