The tennis club is looking for a Head Tennis Coach who is able to provide coaching to children and adults in small groups as well as private coaching. The coaching will be generally from 3.30pm onwards on weekdays and weekends only if required. The work will involve private lessons with players of varying standard so it is important that all applicants are strong players themselves. Approximately 20 hours per week of coaching will be available should all students of the current coach transfer to the new coach.
This role involves being the Coach at our club. You may require an assistant of your own employment – to provide coaching to children and adults in small groups as well as private coaching. It will be the Coach’s independent business with the only requirement from the club being that the Head Tennis Coach will manage the Junior teams competitions on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Club membership is mandatory and court/light hire fees may be charged – enquire with Secretary.
The picturesque valley location features 6 plexipave hardcourts all with competition standard floodlighting. The clubrooms overlook the courts and a paved pergola area is to the building’s west. Park seats are at various spots at the venue. Canteen facilities are available on match days. The courts are not open to the general public, members only, and are locked when not in use. Visitors are welcomed and may arrange with a committee member access to the courts when required.
