The tennis academy is looking for a Head Tennis Coach who will oversee our youngest junior development pathways & engage our juniors at the beginning their tennis journey, in a fun learning environment. The ideal candidate is looking for a career in the tennis industry, is a student of the game, up to date with current teaching methods & has a natural connection with both juniors and their parents.

Job duties and responsibilities
- Foster a love for tennis in our Hot Shots Red & Blue players
- Programming: Design lesson plans & progression pathways for our red & blue level Hot Shots classes
- Class management: Ensuring standards, ages etc are appropriate in each class & role sheets are up to date & accurate
- Quality control: Ensure Hot Shots red & blue coaches are on time, prepared & lessons are delivered to the desired standard
- Communication: with staff, parents & players
- Stakeholder Liaison: Take advantage of opportunities available to our club, staff & players through local schools, tennis Qld, Tennis Aust & local government
- Asset management: Ensure all equipment and assets are protected and looked after at all times

The tennis academy is a is a professional tennis management company located in Queensland. The academy manages 2 award winning tennis centre’s across Brisbane & the Gold Coast.
Candidate qualifications and skills
Essential Requirements:
- Must have experience coaching young children aged 3 – 12yrs
- Must have a valid driver’s license and your own car
- Working with Children’s Check (blue card)
- First aid certification
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Current coaching qualifications
- Must be a Tennis Australia coach member or be able to provide proof of adequate insurance and qualification

- Ability to teach, coach and manage people of all ages and skill level
- Passionate and committed to junior development
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Proactive and good communication skills
- Good Team player who is able to satisfy the goals & vision of the tennis academy
