Head Performance Academy Coach

Job Summary 

Lead our Nationally Accredited LTA 10U Performance Player Pathway Programme directly enhancing the standards within our academy. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to plan, develop and deliver our academy performance programme both on and off court. The position will include management of our current 10U Performance Academy programme and also the growth and development of the programme for players involved in County/Regional and National/TE/ITF level competitions (11-18yrs).

Venue and Company Description

We are located near Hertford on the beautiful grounds of Haileybury. We house 4 indoor (heated) and 4 outdoor hard courts, a Café, bespoke Fitness Studio, Pro Shop and Reception.

We have a thriving Junior programme servicing 400 + places per week.
Our Adult programme includes coaching groups of all levels with ongoing demand for individual sessions weekly. We have teams participating in a variety of both internal and external leagues during summer and winter.

Our junior academy starts as young as 4yrs old through to 18ys with real commitment to producing players up to national/international levels. We work closely and support our schools in the local community (approximately 50) whilst also supporting the Haileybury Tennis Team training on a weekly basis.

We are an inclusive and welcoming coaching team dedicated to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to develop their tennis and coaching skills in a positive and supportive environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

To assist you in your role you will be working with grounded, open-minded and experienced tennis coaches who take pride in working as a team. Plus a full-time experienced Strength and Conditioning coach delivering weekly squad sessions in full support of the academy training syllabus.

Our LTA 10U Accredited Performance Programme offers free coach education for the right candidate working with the National Pathway Coaching Team in support of developing further the skills and quality of our current academy players.

In addition to the above the successful candidate will also be able to offer their coaching services to our wide-ranging customer base and set their own coaching rates
