we are a 3 floodlight hard court club with around 100 members. We haven’t had a junior programme for a few years but we’re close to a large secondary school and several primary schools. The club is on the same road as a busy commuter station that has fast links to East Croydon, Clapham and London. We pride ourselves on being a friendly club with a young committee who want to create a unique and special environment for anyone who wants to play tennis.
We are looking for a head coach or coaching company to start a programme that focusses on the growth of juniors and their parents. We have an ambitious target of having 60 junior members by the end of 2024 and want to support the incoming coach to hit that number. We have two courts available on Tuesdays between 15:00-20:30, Thursdays, 15:00-18:00, Fridays 15:00-19:00, Saturdays 09:00-12:00 plus individuals, there are daytime group options as an addition to these hours.
We would like our coach to be an active part of the club so they’re joining in with club activities, we’re looking for the right person to add value to our club life. All coaches working at Riddlesdown LTC must be LTA accredited or LTA accredited+.
The club would like to offer £500 as a fund to the incoming coach to start the programme and attract people to start playing, if you’re interested in applying please send an email to with your CV and a short summary of how you’d like to spend the start-up fund.
