Head Coach

Job Summary

Our Tennis Club is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled head coach to lead our tennis school and develop players at all levels.

We are a small club with about 150 members, but we aim to grow and build a strong club environment.

Currently, we have around 50 participants in courses at all levels. We want the tennis school for the youngest to follow the Play and Stay concept with the goal of developing active tournament players. We have an active competition group at a high national level, which also participates in TE and ITF tournaments.

The main focus of the job will be to develop tennis players, from young beginners to advanced adults. Part of the job will also involve organizing tournaments on some weekends throughout the year, as well as assisting in recruiting new course participants and members to the club.

With modern facilities such as an indoor hall with two hardcourt courts, two outdoor hybrid clay courts, one outdoor hardcourt, a clubhouse, and a mini tennis court, we have a wide range of offerings for players at all levels.

Our goal is to promote well-being, inclusion, and athletic development for all our members.

Job duties and responsibilities

• Plan and conduct training sessions for players of all ages and skill levels
• Guide and motivate players to achieve their goals as the club’s tournament participants
• Tournament director for the club’s tournament activities
• Collaborate with the club’s board to develop the club’s sports offerings
• Responsible for recruiting new course participants and members to the club
• Take responsibility and contribute to the maintenance of the club’s facilities

Candidate qualifications and skills

• Relevant coaching education and experience as a tennis coach
• Strong professional competence in tennis
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire players
• Flexible and adaptable
