This is an opportunity to work in a world class, top 5 rated indoor facility in the country, that was named “Tennis Town USA” in 2009. The Greater Midland Tennis Center (GMTC) is a 16-indoor and 23-outdoor court facility that has hosted the Dow Tennis Classic for over 30 years, as well as numerous local, sectional, national and college championships each year. We offer an aggressive salary plus incentive base compensation.
The Position
Reporting directly to the Director of Tennis, the Coordinator of Leagues and Tournaments oversees all functions related to our adult and junior sanctioned/non-sanctioned tournaments, and our USTA and GMTC conducted leagues. The Coordinator works to ensure efficiency in all aspects of leagues and tournaments that are hosted by GMTC, and plans, manages and performs all administrative and clerical tasks necessary for the operation of leagues and tournaments at GMTC. The Coordinator’s main incentive pay will be based on the success of Tournaments and Leagues within realm of responsibility; the Coordinator will have the opportunity to further develop a professional resume by coaching on the court as well.
