A high-performance tennis academy in Los Angeles, California, is looking for a full-time high-performance tennis director.
This position is responsible for being the director of the High-Performance program.
This position will be an on and off-court role, with direct personal responsibility for developing the program and hiring your coaching team. There is no travel required for this role. In this role, you will drive academy growth by supporting stakeholders in delivering a world-class high-performance program. We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative professional to establish and grow our academy.
Organizing the entire tennis operations as Director of High-Performance
Proven ability to develop and implement a high-performance tennis program for developmental and elite tennis athletes.
Extensive experience coaching tennis at an elite national or international level and a successful track record.
Minimum of 20 hours on court
The hiring of staff and management of staff
Deliver camps including coaching and support
Play an integral role and building sustainable pathways for the academy
duties consistent with camp themes as required
Hold regular stakeholder meeting
High-level knowledge of the technical and tactical aspects of tennis
Manage website updates

Ability to relate to personnel and players
Essential leadership skills, team-oriented with a strong sense of customer focus.
Administrative skills to include basic budgeting, reporting, program enhancement.
Responsible for meeting program budget responsibilities and controlling expenses
Establish positive relationships with club staff and Director of Tennis
Highly organized with excellent communication and leadership skills
Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Maintain standards of professionalism and excellence that reflect academy values
Be visibly involved with parents and staff in a positive, friendly manner
Adherence to relevant policies
Other duties as assigned
Candidate must be USTA/PTR qualified.
Former WTA/ATP singles ranking preferred
Preferably have worked with WTA/ATP players and run high a academy program
Starting salary $100,000+ depending on the level of experience (Negotiable)
