Job Summary

Multi-site Tennis coach required for Oxford

Courtside is a community interest company dedicated to increasing physical activity and promoting community through the transformation of local parks. We are a leading coaching provider in the Oxfordshire area and support over 30 primary schools with our outreach programme, delivering regular weekly coaching in 18 venues within the county.

Our coaching programme is well established and provides a good team feel, which also includes staff benefits such as balls, coaching equipment & individual coach contracts with Yonex UK.

We also operate a coaching education side of the business that will allow us to offer in house CPD and support through further qualifications.

Person Specification

We are looking for a hard working & reliable coach who is motivated to grow the sport in all areas.

This role would suit someone who is looking to work full time and enjoys teaching both adults & juniors. Group work is thriving and there is solid demand for individual lessons both during the week and at weekends. The role will also cover consistent hours during school holiday periods, involving both group and camps work.

Due to our links with both Oxford University & Oxford Brookes please do let us know on your application if you have experience working with university tennis, whether it be coaching or playing.

Requirements:-

Level 3 minimum although we will consider Level 2 applications if they are working towards the Level 3 in the near future.

Job Type: full time or part time
Salary: £22-35 per hour depending on experience.

Venue and Company description

Multi-site venue in tennis courts and schools across Oxford, run by Courtside CIC.

Job duties and responsibilities

Group and one to one sessions across Oxford.

Candidate qualifications and skills

Level 3 minimum or level 2 if working towards level 3.

Experience of working with young and old people, one to ones and group sessions.

High energy on court, strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage your time effectively and bring the best out of every person you coach.

Benefits

£22-35 per hour depending on experience.
