Job Summary
The Tennis Professional is responsible for promoting and delivering a first-class tennis experience to members and guests. This includes coaching private and group lessons, overseeing and helping to develop the junior program, assisting with pro shop operations, running events and tournaments, and serving as an ambassador for the Club's tennis offerings.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tennis Professional to join our team and continue the tradition of excellence in coaching, club community building, and member engagement.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Coach private and group lessons for both juniors and adults
- Oversee the junior tennis program; design and develop new clinics, camps, and events
- Promote, coach, and supervise all junior clinics and summer camps
- Organize and run tournaments, mixers, and special events
- Professionally handle member and guest interactions, including last-minute schedule changes
- Promote all club tennis and pickleball events
- Perform administrative duties in the Pro Shop, including court bookings and billing
- String tennis rackets and assist with equipment needs
- Collaborate with other staff to maintain the highest standards of service and professionalism
- Be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
- Ability to work along side other coaches to ensure professional instruction and consistency with our teaching methodology
- Proficiency and enthusiasm to work with Red, Orange and Green Ball juniors
- Assist in maintaining courts in a professional manner and ensure that the environment is safe for all those who use the facility
- Focus on attracting and retaining existing and new members to join our tennis program
Candidate qualifications and skills
- Minimum of 5 years coaching experience, preferably in a private club environment
- Strong passion and skill in coaching junior players, especially ages 4–10
- University degree
- PTR, USPTA, or equivalent certification required (Junior Development certification highly valued)
- Proven experience organizing and executing junior programs, camps, and tournaments
- Pickleball experience is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a dynamic team
- 4.5 NTRP playing level ( college or professional playing experience)
- Strong verbal and written skills
