Job Summary

Our client is seeking a full-time Tennis Director for their Tennis Centre located in the heart of Canggu, in Bali, Indonesia. The position reports to the Director of Sports & Recreation. The successful coach will help build athletes and adults in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary to realize a high level of individual and team success.

Instruction should lead to improved ability in the sport as well as good sportsmanship, self-discipline, self-confidence, and a sense of pride & accomplishments.

Candidates are expected to have coaching and management experience at a professional setting.

Duties include practice planning, training, game strategy, and administration.

The Club is Bali’s premier entertainment and sporting venue where everyone is welcome.

Set on a sprawling 4 hectare estate amongst the rice fields of Canggu and yet only a 10 minute drive to Seminyak.

The Club features a complete Fitness Centre including lap pool and sports ground, Tennis Centre, Body Temple Spa, Sports Bar, Multiple Restaurants plus much more….

Job duties and responsibilities

Displaying a high degree of initiative and having a proactive attitude, the Finns Bali Tennis Director will prepare, implement and manage a planned and graduated tennis program, that caters for adults and kids of all abilities and aspirations.

The Tennis Director’s key roles include:

▪️ lead and oversee the coaching and training program
▪️ overall management and oversight of the tennis program
▪️ support players through competitive pathways and at events, including tournaments
▪️ recruitment and retention of additional coaches with appropriate levels of qualifications
▪️ working closing and liaising with Finns Bali management to help develop our tennis programs
▪️ good level of IT skills and management skills
▪️ regular term & holiday programs for the duration of the school holidays for kids – available for all levels of play (beginners and advanced)
▪️ private sessions & social tennis games for adults of all levels

Candidate qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of coaching and recruitment experience in professional setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism, with a high standard of personal conduct and integrity.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lead a team
