Job Summary

The tennis academy is looking for an Assistant Tennis Coach to help maintain and deliver ANZ Hot Shots and Junior Tennis programs as well as private lessons, schools and squad training.

We are looking to hire a part time or casual coach for our 2 busy tennis centres. The ideal applicant must be willing to learn and grow with our business. Option for long term positions available to the right candidate.

Venue and Company description

The academy is a fast growing tennis business service with a focus on a team and family atmosphere. The academy runs Junior Leagues, Tournaments, Match Play, Squad and Group Training, Private lessons and Team Events.

Candidate qualifications and skills

Tennis Qualification is not essential, however is preferred. Coaching experience is needed. Have a passion for tennis and remain professional at all times.

• Strong communication skills with an outgoing and engaging personality
• Tennis coaching or playing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Motivation and drive to achieve positive results
• Be a positive role model, supportive and enthusiastic
• Own transport is ideal but not essential
• Weekday afternoon, evenings and Saturday morning availability
• WWCC and Police check needed
• Junior Development Coach
• Must be a Tennis Australia coach member or be able to provide proof of adequate insurance and qualification
• First Aid certification

Our pay scale is based on qualifications, experience and level of commitment to the position. Hours of the position are also depending on availability and experience in particular types of classes.
