Join a Dragons’ Den investment and help deliver our Tennis Holidays & UK Tennis Clinics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fun, close knit team. 

Venue and Company description

For over 15 years we’ve welcomed over 3000 people into the Active Away Family. Being part of a family means we care for each other & support each other through trust, honesty & respect. This will be a remote working role we don’t operate from a centralised office. You will spend 23 weeks abroad in stunning 4 & 5 star locations. 

Job duties and responsibilities

Tennis Holiday Host – Host our Tennis Holidays in Greece, Turkey, Mallorca and Dubai! 

• Host 23x Weeks of Tennis Holidays per annum in April/May/June/ September/October/November. 
• Lead a team of 3-10 coaches and deliver our Louis Cayer designed Adult Doubles Programme. 
• Stay in beautiful 4* & 5* Resorts, with all of your food & drinks included! 

Tennis Clinic Host – Host our Tennis Clinics at Indoor Tennis Centres across the UK. 

• Host 35x 1 Day Tennis Clinics per annum in January/February/March/June/ July/August/November/December. 
• Deliver our Louis Cayer programme at prestigious venues (including David Lloyd Leisure) across the UK. 

Open Days – Host our Open/Promotional Days. 

• Host 10x Open Days per annum at prestigious UK venues to drive Clinic/ Holiday business. 

School Tours Concept – Embellish the ‘Schools Tour’ concept and drive new business. 

• Working with prospective schools across the UK to create and embellish the ‘Schools Tennis Tours’ concept. 

Candidate qualifications and skills

• Excellent Tennis Coaching knowledge and dynamic coaching style. 
• Ability to work as part of a small, driven team 
• Ability to take ownership and have accountability 
• Ability to problem solve 
• Confident on Microsoft Office 
• Excellent communication skills as well as being personable/friendly/ conscientious and outgoing.

£20,000 per annum base salary – Maximum £5000 bonus based around agreed targets for: 

• Successful Tennis Holiday Delivery (Tennis Holiday Feedback & Rebookings) 
• Successful Tennis Clinic Delivery (Tennis Clinic Feedback & Rebookings) 
• New Business (Open Day Sales) 
• School Tennis Tours delivery. 

Free clothing, bags, rackets and footwear 

20 Days Holiday per annum 

All expenses paid for whilst hosting our Tennis Holidays & Tennis Clinics 

Extra Income Opportunity through individual lessons at €50 – payable directly from client > you on a Self Employed basis 

Extra Income Opportunity through new sales on a £50pp commission for Tennis Holidays and a £7 commission for Tennis Clinics. 

Opportunity to progress into a Business Development Role.
