Sven Groeneveld has coached players like Mary Pierce, Michael Stich, Greg Rusedski and Ana Ivanovic. He is currently training advisor for the Adidas Player Program and works with Fernando Verdasco and Caroline Wozniacki. Also Director @ OrangeCoach.

Baltacha, who was playing very aggressive, defeated Sorana 3-6 5-7 in Strassbourg. Too bad she lost but then again, Sorana was able to play 3 matches in Strassbourg which was good preparation for Roland Garros.

Speaking of which, we travelled to Paris by train yesterday (TGV)... arrived at Paris station within 2,5 hours. Ayumi decided to travel by plane. She wanted to arrive early and train at the end of the afternoon. Unfortunately for her it took her a whole day to reach Paris... due to a lot of delay on the airport. Better luck next time or... take the train for a change!

It was lovely weather in Paris, bright sun and blue sky. Reason the more to enjoy a little bit in the afternoon before the start of our hectic French Open schedule.

I really wanted to see the Grand Palace. Did you know it was built for the world expo in 1900 and that the Eiffel Tower is also linked to this event?

We are ready for another Grand Slam.
