1. What is the difference between OrangeCoach and the Pro Registry?

OrangeCoach offers jobs and tennis career services for tennis professionals of all levels. The Pro Registry is an exclusive network of tennis coaches and trainers who are actively working on the ATP, WTA and ITF tour. The Pro Registry is founded to unite, support and promote its member professional tennis coaches for the improvement and protection of their working circumstances. The Pro Registry is supported by OrangeCoach but acts independently.

2. Why is the Pro Registry hosted by OrangeCoach?

The online platform of OrangeCoach provided a very cost effective and safe environment to start the Pro Registry. During 2010 the Pro Registry will transfer to a separate website outside of www.orangecoach.com. Since march 2010 the Pro Registry has merged with the T.L.T.C.A. and will go by the name Professional Tennis Coaches Assosciation. The new website will be www.ptcatennis.com.

3. What kind of tennis professionals register at the Pro Registry?

Tennis coaches and trainers actively working on the ATP, WTA or ITF tennis circuit can join the Pro Registry to have access to specific tour services, discounts & benefits.

4. What kind of tennis professionals register at OrangeCoach?

Tennis coaches, trainers and instructors of all levels and nationalities register at OrangeCoach to have access to jobs and career resources.

5. If I join the Pro Registry, do I automatically become a member of OrangeCoach?

Although the Pro Registry is powered by OrangeCoach it acts independently. This means that registered members of the Pro Registry have no access to available jobs and employment resources offered to regular OrangeCoach members.

6. I am a regular OrangeCoach member. Can I also join the Pro Registry? 

Yes, but only if you are actively working (e.g. with players or teams) on the ATP, WTA or ITF professional tour.

7. I am a member of the Pro Registry. How can I get access to the online jobs and employment resources on the website www.orangecoach.com?

8. If I join the Pro Registry for free what will happen in January 2010?

We are currently inviting all coaches on-tour to support and join the Pro Registry for free. In 2010 we will introduce the first on-tour benefits and you will have the option to support the Pro Registry by remaining a free member or you can choose to become a paying member and gain individual benefits.

9. What are the most imporant next steps in further developing the Pro Registry?

1. Launch of a separate website and e-mail newsletter for the Pro Registry (www.ptcatennis.com was launched on 03-03-2010)

2. All coaches & trainers will receive an invitation to participate in a survey about the benefits, code of ethics and member criteria.

3. All coaches & trainers will receive a summary of the results of the survey.

4. Introduction of the first member benefits & services.
