Tennis blue academy Assistant head coach/head coach. Working closely with the Director Glenn Hamilton I have learnt a great deal about running a business and coaching higher level players. As Glenn has spent a great deal of time in France with a team I have taken the role as head coach. I have managed the programs, taken care of coaches time tables, ran fitness sessions, taken care of stock and other equipment and also been responsible for advertising. |

Academy Coach at the Sanchez-Casal academy in Spain I was personally responsible for 11 players who were enrolled in the Boys High School program. I took care of their daily training, tournament planning and nutrition. I was also working very close with the physical trainers as our training was linked for periodisation reasons. I also spent a great deal of time working with Javier Capitaine ( Sharapova'ss ex fitness training as well as Nalbandian and he is currently working with Nicolas Almagro) Throughout 2009 I spent a lot of time travelling throughout Spain and Europe to both ETA's and ITF junior events. During the year I wrote interim reports and end of year reports for both senior coaches and parents. |
