Our Academy is providing professional tennis services to the greater metropolitan Beijing area. Operating since January of 2007, our academy is owned and operated by a multinational Management team from the United States, Australia, and China. We teach at local international schools, residential villas, and tennis centers providing dynamic group and private lessons with a personal touch. We aim to elevate the quality of tennis in China through progressive sports programming, competitions, and coaching programs.

COACHING POSITIONS

We are looking for a younger, good hitting, recently qualified coach and or a more experienced coach who could step into a Head Coaching position. We aim to get our new coaches in as soon as possible, starting january 2012 but here by december.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should possess the following quali_cations and experience:

Minimum:

• Playing experience Juniors, College (NCAA), Futures, ITF, Satellite, Challenger
• 2 years coaching experience (all ages and abilities) ITN Rating of 4 or higher
• Qualified and Accredited Tennis Coaching Certification Current First Aid certification
• A college/university diploma preferred Clean criminal record
• Coaches must be effective communicators in spoken and written English
• Work in a team environment to not only coach tennis programs but also promote our academy's high standards in coaching and mentorship.

CALENDAR YEAR

Our coaching calendar is divided into 4 school terms beginning at the end of August through the end of June. Holiday and summer tennis camps are organized throughout the year. 4-5 academy sponsored tennis tournaments are held annually.

EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS AND STRUCTURE

Our academy coaching contracts are 24-month contracts ending on the first week of August.

• Coaches typical workweek includes 15-40 billable hours.
• Coaches work both Saturday and Sunday with intermittent classes throughout the week.
• 5 weeks of paid scheduled annual leave
• Coaches will receive a performance evaluation after 12 months including pay adjustments

PAY AND BENEFITS

• Coaches joining the GS Academy will join a close knit team, while receiving a substantial bene_ts package.

PAY

• Base salary is based coaching qualifications and experience as a coach and player.
• Coaches with more that 25 billable hours per work week will be paid an additional hourly rate.
• Billable hours include all group and private lessons, special tennis events, programs, and clinics.
